We are an organization committed to impacting people with disabilities, we want to provide them with as much information on services and supports available to them. This information is not just for people with disabilities but for their direct-care support staff and family members that provide aide or support to people with disabilities.
We want people with disabilities to have a voice and speak out. This is one of the places where that will be possible. Anyone with a disability is welcome to share their story, their hopes, questions, comments, and opinions. We will make sure that what they have to say will not go on unheard or judged. Creating this site is only the beginning, it wont only share our voices but it will present people with disabilities in a different light.
Often we are not given the chance to show what we are capable of. People will see that people with disabilities have struggles, we have relationships, that we have jobs, and we want to treated just like everyone else and not labeled because we appear different from societies norm. People born normal have lots of misconceptions and false ideas about people with disabilities. The Disability Mafia is here to set the record straight. We are a united front people born with disabilities and people who have become disabled due to circumstances in their lives are part of the Disability Mafia. There is no segregation amongst the mafia

Veronica Johnson
President and Co-founder.
First and foremost I want to give thanks to all the people have helped me throughout my life and have been an inspiration for me.One thing I believe with all my heart that people should never forget where they came from and remain humble to all the people that help them in their lives. Most of my support came from my family and my circle of support.
Hi Everyone, I'm Veronica and I want to share with you a little bit about myself. I want to share with you a part of my story that inspired me to create this website. First and foremost I have to Thank everyone that has helped me and supported me in my life. That support came from my family and friends. They always told me that I was capable of anything even though I have a disability. They told me most of the time that I wasn't disabled but that I had a disadvantaged. That everyone has disadvantages in life and you move past them. So I decided that they were right. I am capable of accomplishing many things, so if I'm capable then that means that other people with disabilities are as well. Being disabled does not mean that you should not get the same opportunities as a person without disabilities. It means that you may need assistance or aid to complete a task.
With that being said I want to pass on as much knowledge that I can to people with disabilities and their supporters, so that they can impact their communities and change their lives. I want people with disabilities to use their voices and skills to speak out and have their voices be heard. Everyone has a voice and opinion and the 1st Amendment gave them their right to free speech. So this site is here as an outlet for people with disabilities to exercise their 1st Amendment rights.
